Web 2.0 and IT support

What kind of IT (information technology or instructional technology) support do you think language teachers and students may need if they are going to use Web 2.0 in the classes?

I think the quality of internet connection is the first prerequisite for applying Web 2.0 in classes.
Also, the capacity of computers used in classes will affect students' learning experience with Web 2.0.
If schools are not equipped with broad bandwidth internet/intranet connection and powerful enough computers, there is no room for Web 2.0.

Hi Spotspot, I agree that the infrastructure is a key element for Web 2.0 to expand the feasibility and connectivity in the school settings. If more students can benefit from the project like Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow (ACOT), I am sure we will be able to continuously move our school systems from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0. http://www.apple.com/education/k12/leadership/acot/

I think the slideshare is a good way for learners to absorb in the Web 2.0-based e-larning. There're many avaliable sources on the internet such as wiki and blog. The lastest term "podcast", also providing us with new connection between MP3 and broadcast. It is a very convenient and advanced way for us to learn.

To genkigirl, slideshare is really cool! I particularly thank those who are willing to share files with other users in that we all benefit from their hard work and masterpieces. Salute!
