What Web 2.0 tools have you heard of or used before? What are the advantages and disadvantages to teachers and learners? Are there any improvements that can be made?
Hi,睿程 Actually there many tools available online as listed in this blog, please feel free to try each of them. I would especially recommend the QA program for you since you are teaching in the primary school!
It's very fantastic while I knew those functions in this blog. I can get many informations about what I want to know. Web 2.0 it's a very convenient for everyone.
I have heard wikipedia, rss, youtube, last.fm, and so on. For me, a student, I consider that Web 2.0 tools or websites really benefit me a lot. It makes my life funner, more convenient, etc. For example, I use rss reader(Google reader) to read my friends' blogs. Using google reader, I do not have to browse every blogs to check if there is any new blog of my friends. Or I can use youtube to watch some foreign tv programs, like ANTM, amazing race, and so forth, to practice my English listening. Hence, I think that web 2.0 tools have many advantages.
Web 2.0 has the more function for that people can apply information for others. I think the advantage is that the information is more nultiple and people can search more information.
I have never heard before having a class called CALL. However, after learning the concept and function of Web2.0, I am surprising that I had used its for a long time. For instance, Wikispaces, Wikipedia and YouTube. Web2.0 is a useful tool to share information with people.
