MySpace and Facebook
MySpace and FaceBook the two well-know social network tools have attractede many students to join in their online communities. As social learning theorists advocate, learning occurs within a social context and people learn from one another, including such concepts as observational learning, imitation, and modeling. Yet, we don't know much about how language teachers and learners can connect the online tools as the spring boards to the ultimate learning goal. Let's brainstorm together and shed light on this issue!

I think facebook could be a good website for language-learning. We can always find and join a lot of events, groups, and connections that we are interested in. For example, I joined the (fluff)friend application and have a fluff friend (a kind of pets) now. In order to take care of him, I've learned a lot of words about moods. If my little friend is unhappy, I will give him some delicious and he may become peppy. Anyway, it's an interesting way for me to learn English.
Hi yeah, nice to see you online again! I agree facebook has many good features to integrate language use. Recently I've added some new functions such as FunWall and Cities I've visited. Writing on someone's wall encourages me to be an active writer and the cities remind me of a lot of fun episodes (they're good inspiration for my writing too).

I joined some websites which are similar to facebook and myapace, but I think facebook is the best website for language learning and making firends . It's a good fun to connect with firends by facebook, and I love the tag photo function. If people like music or website design, myspace is a good website.
i do like to use facebook more than my space. my space is more complicated for me to set the imformation i want to show people and most of my friend use facebook. And facebook could be a good website for teaching and learning. we could tag in the video in my wall and it's easy to use.
I have an account but have not had the priviledge to use this amazing tool. I imagine it has many features because they both attract some many young people aroung the globe.

I think Facebook is a incredible, I use Facebook everyday. I can connect with my friends, see my friends' news or what they do everyday. I also found many friends which I haven't get in touch with for very long time.
I think facebook is even better!!!
But sometimes Fb will have some little problems!
most people have the facebook now! and I think facebook is more useful than my space because we can know the friends` news dirctly!
Facebook is an avant-garde website nowadays. Most people use it every single day, me included. It can shorten the distance between people.
